Welcome to Our Website

Neighborhood Watch is one of the oldest and most effective crime prevention programs in the country, bringing citizens together with law enforcement to deter crime and make communities safer.

This is the official website of the Parkersburg and Wood County (West Virginia) Neighborhood Watch Co-op. Facebook pages and groups other than our Facebook Page and Private Facebook Group are not official Neighborhood Watch. Only our organization is chartered by the Parkersburg Police Department and Wood County Sheriff’s Office to organize and coordinate the activities of all the Neighborhood Watch Groups in Parkersburg and the surrounding unincorporated areas of Wood County. While at the present time there are a few local groups and some individuals who claim to be Neighborhood Watch (or patrol, walkers, walking patrol, or something similar), only the chartered members of the Co-op are recognized by local law enforcement.  Here is what you will find on our website:
